In Canção de dentro, Melim presents a new series of paintings in which, by intertwining the natural, human, and mythological realms, painting coexists with performance and a multidisciplinary exploration of nature. Artist news 🪨 Benedikt Hipp — Songs from the Artist news 🪨 Benedikt Hipp — Songs from the Orbs The Emil Schumacher Museum presents Songs from the Orbs, a solo exhibition by Benedikt Hipp, developed especially for the museum in Hagen. Through painting and wood-fired ceramics, Hipp explores the creative possibilities of abstraction and material. His ceramic works emerge from processes in which clay, fire, ash and time become active participants, while the material itself evokes the distant origins of matter, introducing a poetic dimension to his practice. The exhibition also engages with the architecture of the museum and with the work of Emil Schumacher, creating a dialogue between two generations of artists connected by their investigation of material, form, image and abstraction. Artist news 📍 Parco Piemonte, Turin (TO) 📅 Artist news 📍 Parco Piemonte, Turin (TO) 📅 September 25-27 | 5–7 PM The festival “Il fiume che ci attraversa” comes to a close, with a celebration that brings together bodies and territories, memories and communities, within a temporary ecological space for gathering and exchange conceived by Maja Escher, whose practice explores contemporary ecologies and the relationships between communities, the environment, and urban transformation. The event will feature songs and storytelling by Perperúna ensemble, alongside shared food curated by aristortele, giving an edible form to the ritual of the river. Everyone is warmly invited to join. A project conceived and curated by Licia Soldavini, Caterina Selva and Lorenza Manfredi. A project by Fondazione Mirafiori, in collaboration with Orti Generali and the City of Turin, as part of ClimaGen – Climate, Imagination, Engagement – Horizon Europe.

In his paintings and wood-fired ceramics, the artist explores the creative possibilities of abstraction and material. His ceramics emerge from processes in which clay, fire, ash, and time become active participants. At the same time, Hipp seeks the distant origin of matter in clay—a concept that lends his work a poetic dimension. The exhibition incorporates the museum's architecture as well as the immediate proximity of the two artists' exhibitions.
